We are offering monthly ‘HGN Member’s Workshops’ at a range of venues around the county. These events will draw geographically local groups & experts together, providing support in response to HGN membership concerns, and include workshops on website development, fundraising, social media training, volunteer engagement, national / regional initiatives.

These events, coupled with HGN’s ongoing meetings, web support & e-mailings will develop stronger links between local community organisations. By supporting the work of our member organisations in this way people will have a better understanding of resources to help them save energy & more people will have access to information about healthy sustainable lifestyle choices.

About Make, Do and Mend

Drawing on the skills & expertise of local people & support the development of local recycling, up-cycling, repair & home cooking skills.

The events provide an opportunity to bring the local community together around a meal or activity, and thereby create an environment for community discussions and the sharing of resources. We have funding from Awards for All to develop Make, Do & Mend events with 6 communities around Herefordshire, and we will be working with a wide range of local communities
